Tiffen’s digital filter suite Dfx v3 is now available for use with Apple’s Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5.

The digital filter system simulates some 2,000 Tiffen glass filters, specialised lenses, optical lab processes, film grain, and natural light and photographic effects.

“Having support for the Final Cut Pro and Motion community ensures that these artists are able to use their Tiffen Dfx filters when they make the move to the latest Apple pro video application offerings,” said company president and chief executive Steve Tiffen.

Tiffen Dfx for FCP X and Motion 5 is available for £379 ($599).
