Broadcast systems integrator TSL is to open an office at The Pie Factory in Salford.
The new office will be called “TSL MediaCityUK”.
It will serve as the hub for TSL’s ongoing systems integration, consultancy and procurement operations in the region.
The Pie Factory is part of the MediaCityUK development at Salford Quay.
TSL is currently providing professional services and overseeing technical decision-making for Peel Media for the MediaCityUK Studio Block.
TSL managing director David Phillips said: “This new office is demonstrable evidence of our commitment, not just to the MediaCityUK development but to the expanding broadcast and production work that will emanate from this world-class facility.”
Initial pre-build of the studio block’s systems is now underway at TSL in Maidenhead and Marlow.
The studio block will include seven high definition television studios, two audio studios and a technical area.
The technical area will feature fully equipped sound and vision control rooms, post facilities, dressing rooms, make-up rooms and set storage.
