Soho has been paying its respects to freelance producer Pat Stimpson who passed away unexpectedly last week at the age of 49.
A founding partner at Brothers and Sisters, Stimpson also worked at Molinare, BDA Creative and the Sci-Fi Channel.
The Farm’s Nicky Sargent, who worked with Stimpson at Molinare, said: “Pat started at Molinare as his Dad was involved in building the studios. Pat used to help him out and just never really left. He was such a lovely man who never had a bad word for anyone.”
Evolutions managing director Simon Kanjee, who also worked with Stimpson at Molinare added: “He was telly through and through. And a wonderful man.”
Stimpson is survived by his wife, Nina Khan, a post-production supervisor, and their daughter Laila (pictured with Stimpson).
The family will be saying goodbye to Stimpson at a celebration of his life on 3 February.
