Equipment rental company Video Europe has won a£1m contract with Dubai-based broadcaster Taj Television to supply the production equipment for all international cricket in Pakistan and Sri Lanka for three years.
Equipment rental company Video Europe has won a£1m contract with Dubai-based broadcaster Taj Television to supply the production equipment for all international cricket in Pakistan and Sri Lanka for three years.

The deal will see Video Europe supply Ten Sports - the sports channel broadcast by Taj Television - with a flyaway package that consists of 20 cameras including the Sony Supermotion system and EVS video server systems.

The contract begins in July with international test matches scheduled for Pakistan this

summer.

Taj Television is a Dubai Media City-based broadcaster that employs around 100 people across its six regional offices. Taj Television launched Ten Sports in 2002. It now reaches an estimated 40 million homes worldwide, and has broadcast sports such as the Fifa World Cup.

Video Europe recently relocated from Wandsworth to Clapham after making around£3m on the sale of real estate.
