Prime Focus's holding group, VTR, has secured the business interests of visual effects specialist Clarke Associates.

Creative director Simon Clarke and his team are crucial components in the deal.

VTR has also purchased some equipment including 3D workstations, a 3D render farm and associated software from Clarke Associates.

Clarke has worked on programmes for the BBC and National Geographic including Lost Cities (BBC), Mega Structures (National Geographic) and Superstorm (BBC).

VTR will issue 100,000 new VTR Plc ordinary shares to Clarke Associates and make a cash payment of£30,000.
