Richard Fish has joined VTR plc's The Machine Room from Ascent Media to head business development for its restoration, film mastering, high-definition and duplication businesses. Fish spent two years at Ascent Media securing archive, telecine, HD and feature film work across the group and was previously at BBC Worldwide. The Machine Room's credits include restoration projects for BBC News archives, the International Olympics Committee, the Empire in Colour series, the BFI and the Nato archive.
