Brief Picture post-production for the first 30-minute programme in a three-part documentary series about the working lives of artists. It focuses on Jack Vettriano, one of the UK’s most commercially successful artists.

How it was done Colette Camden shot the observational aspects of the programme on a Canon C300 and Simon Battersby edited using Final Cut Pro 7.

Using Avid’s Symphony Nitris, Fifty Fifty colourist Coco Lorenzo used subtle grading to give the documentary a deep and rich visual presence.

Lorenzo graded the footage to look glossy and vivid in a bid to match the look of the programme to Vettriano’s work.

Audio facility Tamborine completed the sound mix, with dubbing mixer Nick Harris using Avid Pro Tools for the sound post-production work.
