How it was done The grade and online was completed by Jean-Paul Vial using DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer and the Boris FX plug-ins. At the outset, he experimented with LUTs with a view to creating a distinctive look, but decided to stick with a more natural contrast setting and a warm, saturated hue. Some glow in the highlights was applied to hospital scenes to detract from their sterile and cold atmosphere. In addition, a mobile online suite was set up at Vaudeville sound studios so that Vial could interact with mixer Adam Wilks during the audio finishing.
