Wise Buddah has appointed former Pinewood Studios mixer James Doyle as dubbing mixer and upgraded its second sound suite to 5.1 after seeing an increase in high-end TV audio postproduction work.

An overhaul of Studio 3 will include a new Avid C24 control surface along with 5.1 monitoring, a dedicated Foley area, voiceover capabilities and improved acoustics.

Wise Buddah managing director Dave Holt said: “Phase two of the upgrade later this year will focus on Pro Tools systems, shared storage, and implementing a piece of bespoke project and file-sharing software we have developed.”
