Brief Provide picture and audio post production for the 8 x 60-minute series for Discovery Worldwide about some of the world’s more unusual locations.

How it was done The series was shot with a variety of lenses, with extra tilt shift and fi sh-eye effects applied in the online edit by editor Tris Lancey, who used Avid DS.

Colourist Chris Rodgers graded the series using Baselight and dubbing mixers Neil Whippey and Nag Kirinde looked after the audio on Pro Tools.

The series was shot at 23.98Fps and was fi nished at three different frame rates as multiple versions were required for international distribution.

Splice also created presenter-led and presenter-less versions for broadcast around the world on channels including Discovery UK, Discovery US and Discovery Canada.
