WRN Broadcast has appointed Andrew Davies to the role of head of sales and business development.

Davies joins WRN from TSL Middle East, where he was general manager and worked on projects including the Sky News Arabia installation.

He replaces Jonathan Low who has joined Arqiva as head of new business.

WRN chief executive David Treadway said: “Andrew’s first-class commercial credentials, coupled with his acute understanding of broadcast technology, makes him the perfect candidate to lead WRN Broadcast’s continued growth in the broadcast managed services market. 

“As head of sales and business development, we are particularly excited at the prospect of coupling Andrew’s successful international experience with our own global footprint as we continue to exceed our existing client’s expectations and develop key services and markets.”

Prior to joining TSL Davies worked for Siemens IT Solutions and Services where he was responsible for managing BBC projects involved with converging IT and broadcast platforms.
