UKTV has rolled out VoD players for free-to-air channels Really and Yesterday on YouView.
The seven-day catch-up players, developed by Capablue, offer access to a selection of the channels’ acquisitions and original commissions including Raiders of the Lost Past and Ghost Adventures.
The services join the Dave player, which launched in July, in a single UKTV ‘hub’ app which is available via YouView’s on-demand section.
Dan Fahy, UKTV’s head of commercial development, said: “UKTV is committed to making its bold and innovative programmes and channel brands available to as many viewers as possible. The launch of seven day catch up services for Yesterday and Really on YouView is another important milestone for us in ensuring viewers have ‘anytime, anywhere’ access to our content.”
Youview chief financial officer David Dorans added: “Easily finding and enjoying the best TV available is at the heart of everything we do at YouView. Adding on demand TV programmes from popular channels Really and Yesterday makes YouView even more compelling for UK consumers.”
