SIS Live is to provide fibre connectivity for Sky Sports new Ultra High Definition (UHD) coverage of the English Premier League from the start of the 2016/17 season.

The Anylive fibre network will be used to send pictures and sound from each football ground at up to 850Mbit/s via SIS Live network operation centres in MediaCityUK in Salford and Milton Keynes and into Sky Sports’ studios in Osterley. HD reverse vision feeds will be delivered as part of the service, and SIS Live is providing Sky Sports with network control on match days using Net Insight’s Nimbra Touch and Switch technology.
