Software manufacturer 2d3 has launched SteadyMove Pro, a shot stabilisation plug-in for film and video professionals. Users can load in a shaky video sequence and the application will automatically generate a smooth clip. It studies the images to calculate the relative camera movement from one frame to the next and uses this information to remove unwanted movement. Available as a plug-in for editing and compositing applications including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Discreet Combustion, SteadyMove Pro will be available by the end of the month.
