NAB 2013: Adobe will launch its collaborative workflow platform Anywhere at this year’s NAB.

Previewed at last year’s IBC trade show, Anywhere lets users of Adobe professional video tools access and manage centralised media and assets across “virtually any network”.

Adobe said final availability for Anywhere was expected in May.

Las Vegas will also be the setting for the first public demonstrations of the next generation of Adobe’s video tools including Premiere Pro, After Effects, SpeedGrade, Audition, Prelude, Media Encoder and Story.

The next version of Adobe Premiere Pro will include increased customisation capabilities, with new shortcuts for keyboard-driven editing.

It will also include link and locate to quickly relink media, and an expanded set of supported media formats.

The addition of the Lumetri Deep Colour Engine will allow editors to apply colour grading looks directly in Premiere Pro, Adobe said.

A new version of After Effects will include a new 3D pipeline with Maxon Cinema4D integration.

The company has also cut 40% off the monthly cost of Adobe Creative Cloud, which will be available for £27.34 (incl VAT) a month for their first year. The offer is valid until April 19.
