Atomos has launched a camera-mounted recorder and monitor.
The HDMI Ninja Blade features a 1280 x 720 touchscreen that is calibrated to Rec 709 and can record 10-bit images from the camera sensor to HDD or SSD drives.
Atomos founder and chief executive Jeromy Young said the device delivered “fantastic, professional- grade monitoring functionality and recording codecs straight from the multitude of DSLRs, mirror-less and HDMI video cameras”.
The Ninja Blade is available for £595.
