Compatibility with DNxHD, MPEG2 and XDCAM and an improved Adobe Photoshop importer have been added to the latest version of Avid’s real-time broadcast graphics application 4Designer.
The addition of the extra broadcast standards will speed-up project turnaround, the company said.
The changes to the Photoshop importer mean that the application now supports separate text and vector layers, “giving artists the ability utilise more pre-production content in their workflow, while preserving the stations brand identity.”
Various user-requested features, improvements and bug fixes have also been included.
4Designer works with MediaCentral and can be used for on-air graphics, virtual studios, channel branding, sports enhancements, video walls, and interactive element.
The update is available now.
