Avid Interplay users are to be given access to Signiant file transfer capabilities from within the MAM following collaboration between the two companies.

The link-up adds Signiant’s Manager + Agents application to Interplay, allowing media to be sent at speeds of up to 200 times faster than standard internet connections. “Avid and Signiant share many customers, and they have expressed the need to have fast file movement technology accessible from within the Avid system,” said Avid chief product officer Dana Ruzicka.
