UTV has appointed Brendan Mallon to the role of head of resources.
Mallon (pictured) joins UTV from BBC Scotland, where he was operations manager and technical development manager.
In his new role he will have overall responsibility for UTV Television’s technical and production facilities.
Mallon said: “A major part of my role will be to ensure that UTV develops the right blend of skills and new technology - so that we continue to deliver the compelling content the UTV audience expects.”
