BFBS(British Forces Broadcasting Service), the television arm of the Services Sound & Vision Corporation, has purchased a transmission automation system from Ibis in a deal worth£50,000. The Ibis LandScape system will be used to produce a live television service for BFBS' Navy TV. It will control the switching and branding of the service using live sources and pre-recorded material from tape and video servers. Navy TV is broadcast to Royal Navy ships around the world.
