The 6 x 60-minute series follows Ripley Holden's (David Morissey) attempts to open an amusement arcade in the seaside town following the discovery of a dead body on the premises. The story is punctuated with fruit machine visuals of the main protagonists. Big Buoy's senior Flame artist and managing director Jim Allen created the visual effects. Blackpool airs on Thursday (11 November) at 9pm on BBC1.
