Blackmagic Design’s Production Camera 4K (above) is now shipping and its price has been reduced from $3,995 (£2,589) to $2,995 (£1,822).
The camera, which shoots 3840 x 2160 resolution, will initially ship with ProRes support, with support for RAW files to be added through a firmware update set to be released in the “near future”.
The revised price will be available for all customers, including those with an existing pre-order for the camera.
The camera was first unveiled at last year’s NAB.
