From September, viewers will be able to watch streamed programmes on demand including Ben 10 and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, which will be updated daily. Archived episodes of the channel's cartoons such as Codename: Kids Next Door will also be available.
Users can watch clips from the channels' programming for free or on a pay-per-view basis. A price guide for the service has not yet been confirmed.
Digital rights company Premium TV is providing the broadband platform for Turner as part of a two-year deal and will oversee the encoding of content, consumer delivery and the design package. The service will mark Cartoon Network's first step into bespoke broadband content.
Premium TV currently provides the searchable archive for Men and Motors' broadband TV service and the hosting and subscription management for Playboy TV.
