‘Judges praised Halo’s creative, solution-focused approach to clients but, most importantly its culture’

Halo is named Best Post-Production House for the second year running, with the judges praising its consistency in developing high-quality productions.

Halo’s inclusivity, enthusiasm, diligence and collaborative approach to delivering captivating programmes helped it secure notable productions such as The World According To Jeff Goldblum (pictured) for Nat Geo and Disney+, One Shot for Sky Documentaries and Rogue Agent for Netflix.

The business grew substantially in 2022 due to the high calibre of work and services it provided. To manage the increasing demand from international SVODs, the Halo team recruited more creatives and support staff, as well as investing in equipment – including moving the entire grading operation to Baselight.

Broadcast Awards judges praised the company’s “creative and collaborative, solutionfocused approach to clients but, most importantly, its culture”, and commended Halo’s focus on outreach, training and developing staff.

Halo continued its commitment to supporting young talent and offering career opportunities last year, with Halo founder Alan Jones mentoring students at colleges and universities.
