Ceremony to take place on 1 July in London

5 VP commissioners editor Kit Morey, UKTV head of factual & factual entertainment Helen Nightingale and Dom Bird, head of Early Bird Television are among the judges casting their eye over this year’s entrants to the Broadcast Digital Awards 2026.
They are part of a group of judges which also includes Cat White, digital commissioning executive for Channel 4/Channel 4.0, Hello Dolly chief executive Victoria Ashbourne and Elaine Hackett, chief executive and chief commercial officer of Crackit.
The deadline for submitting entries for the Broadcast Digital Awards 2026 has now been extended until Friday 20 March, with the qualifying period running from 15 March 2025 - 13 March 2026. The awards ceremony returns to The Brewery, London, on Wednesday 1 July.
The Digital Awards exclusively celebrate multi-channel broadcasters and their shows, with last year’s winners including Sky Sports Main Event (Channel of the Year) and History Hit TV (Best Factual Channel of the Year), with CPL Productions named Best Multichannel Production Company of the Year.
Disney+ romp Rivals picked up the Programme of the Year (non-PSB group) and Best Drama prizes, while Smoggie Queens (pictured top) collected the Best Comedy Programme award.
This year’s Broadcast Digital Awards features the introduction of a Best Documentary Series, alongside the Best Documentary Programme category. Sponsors for 2026 include tanooki.
WHY ENTER?
The awards celebrate the UK’s very best digital content, creators and channels, with focus on emphasising the context of how shows and channels perform.
The judges will be looking for shows and channels that have succeeding in cutting through in a highly competiive multi-channel market and made a real impact in terms of audecne engagement and channel/platform performance.
