Annie Luo joins Acorn TV and AMC+ operator to work across partnerships and programming
AMC Networks has appointed former Peacock exec Annie Luo to oversee the expansion of its streaming efforts.

Luo takes up the newly created role of president of streaming growth at AMC, with oversight of strategy across subscriber acquisition and engagement.
She will also work on commercial and programming strategies, as well as identifying new business opportunities, and is based out of New York, reporting into AMC Networks chief commercial officer, Kim Kelleher.
Luo was most recently executive vice president, head of global partnerships & strategic development for NBCUniversal’s Peacock, where she worked on distribution partnerships.
She was previously senior vice president of business development, strategy & operations for Hulu, and has also worked for BBC Studios, McKinsey & Company, the World Economic Forum, CNBC and Bloomberg Television.
Kelleher said Luo’s “depth of experience” would be “instrumental in positioning us for our next phase of growth.”
“Annie is a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of streaming ecosystems, shaped by her success at Peacock and Hulu scaling subscribers, forging high-impact distribution relationships and steering businesses through strategy and execution,” Kelleher added.
AMC Networks’ portfolio includes streamers such as horror-focused Shudder, anime service HIDIVE, Sundance Now, ALLBLK, and reality-skewing All Reality.
