Original Off Road will launch on global streamer in July
Keshet International (KI) has struck its first unscripted co-production after partnering with Netflix and Faraway Road Productions on an unscripted reality show.
Off Road is a six-part unscripted reality series starring Lior Raz (Fauda) and Rotem Sela (The Baker & The Beauty), which is being produced by Candle Media’s Faraway Road Productions and KI.
It will launch globally on Netflix on 10 July and sees the famed Israeli actors embarking on a 4x4 off-road trip to discover the landscapes of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Off Road was created and executive produced by Raz, Sela and Avi Issacharoff.
Keshet International’s chief exec Keren Shahar said: “This co-production reinforces our desire to work with great storytellers to develop, produce, and distribute fresh content in any genre and form that sparks conversations.
“We are extremely grateful to the Netflix team for their commitment and belief in this show, and for giving global audiences the opportunity to see the ‘real’ sides of Lior and Rotem.”
Showrunner Gal Raz (The Residents) and producer Ido Baron (The Amazing Race) of Baron Productions are executive producers, alongside Avi Nir (Keshet Media Group), Adi Ezroni (Faraway Road), and Keshet International’s Keren Shahar, Kelly Wright and Saar Dor.
