Designed by Artem's Simon Tayler for production company Blink and agency AMV.BBDO, the animatronic model features a full-size chameleon complete with a harmonica-playing ladybird. Tayler said it was a tough job: 'We had to cram all the servos, mechanics, cables and lights into a very small space - it was more like watch-making than normal animatronics.' In the commercial, the chameleon, which is in the shape of a novelty phone, sings and dances to Boy George's Karma Chameleon with its belly lighting up to the words 'red, gold and green'.
