Films at 59 has purchased an Avid Unity System from Avid, capping£1.5m of investment in the past six months. The server will connect to 35 edit systems across Bristol-based facility houses Films at 59 and Pink House, including four recently purchased Avid Adrenalines. Films at 59 managing director Gina Fucci said: 'Everything is heading towards a tapeless environment, and we're preparing for when that becomes standard working practice.' Films at 59 bought out Pink House in August 2003.
