NAB 2015: A prototype of a high-zoom-ratio, long-focal-length zoom lens for use with 4K-capable 2/3-inch sensor broadcast cameras will be on show at Canon’s stand.

The 4K field zoom lens is being developed as part of Canon’s Digisuper series of studio and field broadcasting lenses and will be the first model in the company’s new UHD-Digisuper lineup.

Details regarding product specifications and pricing are yet to be decided, Canon, said.

However, it is aiming to commercialise the 4K field zoom lens in “late 2015”.
