Clear Cut's main clients include BBC factual and learning, which has moved to in-house editing using FCP as part of the controversial Creative Desktop initiative.

Clear Cut group marketing manager Andrew Newman said that F&L's demand for FCP finishing and support belies the claim that in-house editing is damaging the post sector: 'While the BBC is editing in-house, it's working with external facilities to finish. Our market continues to mature and that's what we've got to do too.'
