Visual effects and post-production house Coffee & TV will this week move its London headquarters from Kingly Street to a facility that overlooks Carnaby Street.

The new 2,000 sq ft studio will house the company’s various FX artists plus a new DaVinci Resolve grading theatre that will be driven by colourist Dan Moran, who is joining Coffee & TV from post-production boutique Smoke & Mirrors.

Managing director Derek Moore said: “The new building will be fully 4K-ready, have dedicated suites for our Flames and colour grading, and a brilliant outside terrace for our clients.”

Discussing the appointment of Moran, he added: “We have known for some time that we needed to open our own grading department. Now we can truly offer a one-stop shop.”

Moran’s credits include a range of pop promos, commercials and films, and working for major brands Versace, Rolls Royce, Nike and Netflix, as well as music artists Sam Smith and Rita Ora [pictured].
