Soho facility Component is expanding its graphics operation by adding some extra kit and taking on more workspace. The department now has a seat of Alias Wavefront's Maya 3D software and an additional Avid DS suite. Head of graphics Simon Pyke said 'a combination of Maya and Mental Ray was the obvious choice for the department. I can see the new 'fluid effect' tool and photo realistic rendering really wowing our clients'. Recent credits for the company include a wide range of design projects, including Jungle Hooksfor Carlton Television, How to Blow a Billionfor Bravo and Desirabilityfor BBC Choice
