Sohonet has appointed Margaret Craig to the role of executive director.

Craig, who was previously chief operating officer at Ascent Media Network Services, has been tasked with helping to steer Sohonet through a period of global expansion.

Sohonet chief executive Dave Scammell said: “Margaret’s commercial savvy and operational expertise regarding file-based workflows and cross-platform distribution systems are second to none. 

“She is a key thought-leader and respected strategist within the IT media industry and we are pleased to have her on board to help us take full advantage of increasing global demand for our solutions and services.”
