How it was done: The type was created in 3D using Maxon's Cinema 4D and composited with layers of light effects and particles in After Effects. The particles were shot by James Francis in the studio's fish tank using a Canon XL1 to get a more realistic effect than is possible with CG. Jody Malam produced the promo for Virgin Media TV.
