How it was done: The team worked from publicity stills with additional footage taken from an FX shoot used to create elements.

Movement was added by using 2D to morph between stills of the family. A 3D head was textured with the available stills, and using maya fluids Saddam's face was ‘melted'.

Finally paint/liquid elements from the FX shoot were composited in Flame.
