How it was done: The series was graded by Graeme Hayes, onlined by Clive Mattock and Ronnie Newman and sound mixed by Phitz Hearne at Blue. Hearne sourced period sound effects to match the archive footage and treated them with EQs. Stephen Waugh and Faye Brown created titles referring to the election with stars and stripes used as a device to bed archive footage.
