A team of cyclists from across the broadcast industry will once again make their way to the IBC trade show in Amsterdam on two wheels.

Last year’s event (pictured) generated more than £35,000 for the Vision charity, which raises funds for blind and visually impaired children.

Bill Vestey of the Vision Charity said: “We’re really looking to expand on the numbers of riders taking part, to get a good group of people working together in aid of these charities.

“This is chance to push yourself while benefitting from the support of others – an individual and team challenge that will bring a smile to many, many people.”

Last year, the cyclists finished the 300 mile journey from IBC’s London headquarters to the RAI in Amsterdam in just under 19 hours.

In a bid to encourage more people to take part this year’s IBC2IBC ride will take place over two days.

The event will leave IBC’s London offices on 3 September with an overnight stop followed by another day’s cycling on the 4 September.
