Digital hire company Digi-Box.co.uk has placed an order for 50 IO systems from AJA Video, which won a Vidy Award at NAB 2003. Developed closely in connection with Apple, the IO is the first uncompressed audio/video FireWire device for Final Cut Pro 4. It is also the first product to take advantage of the new multichannel audio architecture of the editing software. Digi-Box.co.uk managing director Jon Phillips said he believed the product would 'revolutionise the editing capabilities of Mac users'. Digi-Box.co.uk will be exhibiting at The Production Show.
