Singular Software is making a beta download available for DualEyes, a new version of its technology that allows DSLR-shot video to be automatically synchronized with separately recorded high quality audio.

The standalone application is designed to work alongside any video editing application.

It is powered by the same advanced technology as PluralEyes but is streamlined for the task of replacing in-camera scratch audio with separately recorded high-quality audio.

How does it work?

  • Users record audio on a separate recorder while the recording video.
  • DualEyes then synchronizes and cuts up the audio to automatically match each video clip in both start time and duration.
  • The video and new audio clips can then be imported into any video editor and linked.
  • All original media files are kept intact and new media files are created.

The beta is available for immediate download via the Singular Software website.

Customer feedback will be utilized to provide insight into future application enhancements.
