Borehamwood-based hire firm Charter Broadcast has confirmed that Ed Everest, managing director of one of the UK's largest OB firms, 021 Television, is to join the company next month in the same role. Broadcastrevealed in July (7.7.05) that Everest would be leaving Birmingham-based 021 to join Charter, which supplied HD cameras to July's Live8 concert as well as the Wimbledon tennis tournament. The hire firm reported 29% growth in the six months to 30 June, with parent Blitz Charter Group posting operating profits of£1.8m in its first 10 months since demerging from Evenser Group last year.
