London post-production company Evolutions has purchased three ContentAgent re-purposing systems from Root6 Technology.

The first will be installed at Earth, the company’s new commercials boutique in Wells Street.

All three will be used for generating viewing copies and file-based deliverables across multiple platforms.

“ContentAgent offers [a] flexible and complete transcoding and delivery package with a simple and straightforward user interface,” said Owen Tyler, Evolutions’ director of operations.

“In today’s world clients want to maximize the value of their original material across multiple channels including online and mobile. ContentAgent helps us streamline and automate this process.”

The latest version of ContentAgent – including integrated Tektronix quality control, will be on show at Broadcast Video Expo 2010 (16-18 February) on stand F30.

ContentAgent is used by broadcasters and facilities to automatically capture, transcode and distribute digital media files.
