Molinare kit, Rushes Soho Shorts, Red Bee chief exec and Skillset's Facilities Skills Council.

Molinare has ordered a fourth Avid DS Nitris from reseller Root6. The facility has also recently integrated a second Northlight scanner and a third Baselight Grading system, both of which have been relocated from sister company Men-From-Mars' Ealing operation.

This year's Rushes Soho Shorts Festival is open for submissions across six categories: Short Film, Animation, Documentary, Music Video, Newcomer and Broadcast Design. Entry forms can be downloaded at www.sohoshorts.com. The 10-day event will also see feature seminars, networking events and live music performances.

Red Bee Media has appointed Technicolor Network Services president Bill Patrizio as its new chief executive. Patrizio, who has also worked for Disney and Universal Studios, starts officially this month and replaces Pam Masters, who stepped down in December to take on the board vice-chairman post.

Skillset's Facilities Skills Council has selected Silverglade's Terry Smith as its chair for 2009. It also decided at a meeting before Christmas that an informal ‘new starts' event and discussions on a Creative Media Digital Apprenticeship should be among its priorities.
