NAB 2016: SmallHD has released new firmware for its 500 Series and 700 Series on-camera monitors.
New features include an HD vector scope for gauging exposure. Reverse Log LUTS for “popular” cameras are now preloaded on the monitor.
The intensity of the LUT can also be changed in real time.
In addition to the monitor’s original zebra bars the new firmware adds dual zebra bars.
Firmware 2.2 is available as a free download. It will also come installed on all new 500 and 700 Series monitors.
