Framestore CFC was invited by its client PMC to pitch ideas to Wowow, Japan's biggest satellite channel, for a 10-second channel ident, with a completely open brief. Designer Adam Parry came up with two, both of which have been adopted by the channel. The first ident is called Wave and the second Slide, with 10-second versions and five-second cutdowns. Produced by Framestore's Simon Whalley, the HD project also required music mixed in 5.1. Ed Chocolate composed the track in Pro Tools, with Parry doing all graphic work in Inferno at HD.
