Post house Halo has appointed a new head of post-production.

Will Garbutt, previously a senior post-producer at Prime Focus, will take on his new role from the beginning of December.

“Will has years of experience running complex jobs, which is perfect as we’re getting more and more large, complicated work,” said John Rogerson, managing director at Halo.

Rogerson added that Halo also recently bought 24 terabytes of high bandwidth shared storage for use across all suites - Avid, Final Cut Pro and ProTools, along with two HD Final Cut Pro systems.
