An update to make Sapphire available on a wider range of editing systems.

How does it work? Where previous versions worked with After Effects, Autodesk, Avid and Final Cut Pro 6, version 6 of the visual effects software now includes support for Final Cut Pro 7, Nuke, Sony Vegas and other Open Effects (OFX) systems.

The updated software includes a flare designer, new effects and transitions, 1,100 customisable presets, and the ability to preview presets on actual footage.

Users can edit flare elements within After Effects’ 3D compositing environment and isolate effects with After Effects’ masks integration. The software also includes a year of access to FX Central, GenArts’ portfolio of looks.
