The final episode of a six-part BBC series on volunteer SAS soldiers is to feature graphics created by Simon Hooley at London Post, which aim to put the viewer into the minds of the amateur elite combat soldiers. Made by General Factual, the show required graphics to give an overall point of view that would help clarify the land contours and hazards faced by the volunteers, on their final exercise at the end of 16 days' training. Director Ed Glum believes the graphics put the size of the final exercise, which involves helicopters, mortar explosions and an enemy force, into context. The graphics were created in Softimage 3D and composited in Flint. SAS Jungle, Are you Tough Enough?begins on 16 February on BBC2.
