Grass Valley has launched a range of T2 digital disk recorders for live event production, post production and on-demand applications.

Dubbed the Intelligent Digital Disk Recorder (IDDR), the T2 range comprises the T2 Express, T2 Pro and T2 Elite models.

Improvements over previous models include real-time SD/HD cross-conversion, increased format support and faster signal processing.

The T2 Express and Pro models provide up to 1TB of storage, while the T2 Elite model provides up to 600GB of content storage using 2.5-inch HDD or SSD storage drives.
