Halo has recruited senior re-recording mixer Paul Cotterell to its film and drama team.

Cotterell joins the post facility from LipSync.

His credits span features and broadcast work and include The Great Train Robbery for the BBC and the Red Riding Trilogy for Channel 4.

Joint managing director of Halo’s film and drama division David Turner said: “By uniting Paul’s talents with Halo’s established and internationally renowned sound and DI facilities we are able to offer film-makers a top-end, comprehensive package of creative and technical expertise.

“This presents a really exciting alternative for productions looking to post in London. Paul is already booked to mix a number of prominent but currently still confidential film and drama projects this year.”

Halo picked up the award for Best Post Production House at this year’s Broadcast Awards.

The facility’s credits include Les Misérables, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and Shuga (pictured) for MTV.
